Reviewing Old Art Projects

Here is a plant that I have had for a long while. I’m not good with plant names, but I do know it is a succulent. I was thinking about how cool it is to have some nature in my life. I feel so out of sorts in the city, even though it is not “down town”, I still think there should be more plants and nature around.

Luckily enough, the new neighbours moved out and they didn’t want a lot of furniture and so left a bunch on the curb for disposal. I was happy enough to give these lightly worn pieces of furniture a good home. Neighbors don’t last long here. They always move out.

This above is a set of five drawers with one missing latch that is good for storing my art projects. I had been dreaming of these pieces of furniture for a while and to have them show up, basically on my doorstep was some prayers come true. It’s amazing what people will throw out.

I got some new watercolors and there goes my monthly funds pretty much. I haven’t used them yet, but I should soon.

I have been looking at some of my old work that I haven’t done enough work on yet. Unfinished things always stress me out and I have a bunch of unfinished projects.

Above is the beginning stages of a mandala. I’m not sure what to do with it. Maybe I should try out those new watercolors.

Below is a really old marker drawing that I was unhappy with. I was extremely stressed back then. They are supposed to be people.

I’ve been playing around with the lenormand cards I have. Maybe another set of cards by me in the future? We will see.

That’s about it for now. I have been thinking about what to do with this blog. I contemplate stopping all work on it, but I do need a place to organize and share my work. The blog helps me stay on track in terms of being accountable for my work. In other words, it keeps me going by giving me someone to share this with. Having someone else to see my progress makes me want yo keep going. Documenting the progress is kind of fun too.
