Here are some abstract shaped watercolor paintings I have been working on. These are all unfinished pieces at the moment, but you can get an idea of what they will turn into. I hope to have these up for auction sometime in the future.
If you’ve been reading along, you probably noticed the posts with links to current auctions. There are two up now and they will both end on this coming Sunday.
I have been selling some items from around the house lately and luckily enough, the income from that has helped me have enough to eat.
These watercolor paintings are fun and a bit tricky to paint with their odd shapes. To make them, I first cut the shape out of watercolor paper. I then add paint in a manner that I think emphasizes the abstract shape- so that it is something more than just a standard rectangle.
They are fun to make as I’ve said. Maybe you might like to try it at some point. Just cut some odd shapes out and paint them up. I’d love to see someone else’s take on the subject.
That’s all for now,
Thanks for reading,
