The Future Debt- A Poem

If I were disappear’d
To nothingness
The world
Would soon forget

For I’ve done nothing
With which I can beget
But further still
I’ll have gone
From nothing but regret

For further still I
Is where I go
With nothing but respect

The moment still
Has yet to come
When soon I will be dead
The further still ahead
I go and to affect

The nothingness
Will soon be gone
With what I do object

The future still
Is yet to hold
My dear and special

The nothingness from
Which I’ve come
Will lay me to my death
But moments come in future tense
The world knows nothing yet.
