The Page That Stays- Thought Poetry For The Old Tradition

The worse words left
Were not bereft
But somehow mind
Was caught behind

Brought to friction
Left in fiction
And changed my own depiction

Rhymes and schemes
And lofty scenes
What’s behind these daft machines

Heard in song
Were often wrong
And still the verve was often on

Pleasures brought on picture screens
And the bothering
We’ve seen

Friends and ends
And all depends

What speaking says
and often brings
Are things within
No other sees

Written well
These words speak in
The often well
We want to’ve seen

What time it says
On all machines
And pictures still
Were brought to peace

Digital age
Is all our stage
And still the page
It stays It stays
